When I was about six months old Mom and I took the train from Michigan to North Dakota to meet Dad's parents. Can you imagine how difficult it must have been for her to land in that stoic environment without Dad to help her through it?

Me - I just grinned through the whole experience or so I've been told. Here Mom is reaching out to keep me from falling as I had not mastered my sitting upright skills.
